Mmm Pancakes

I am writing this from one of those internet booths that people clearly watch porn in. It has black curtains, leather seats, and thankfully I cannot find the light switch or I would find many dirty tissues.

The Japanese keyboard is making this difficult and I cannot find the apostrophe key so I will keep this short.

I have just devoured the most delicious local pancakes called okonomiyaki ~ an egg based savoury pancake cooked in front of me, topped with cabbage, bean sprout and bacon, then flipped over (the whole lot) until the bacon fries, flipped again, an egg fried on top and seaweed shavings added. Mmmmm tastes better than it sounds.

The chef has photos of me eating it with a cement trowel which I will post when I get back to my little tatami mat, futon shod ryokan where I am staying the night.
